The YGS Group Achieves GreenWorks℠ Certification for Sustainable Efforts
Agfa Program Celebrates Environmental Leadership

The YGS Group, a total marketing solutions provider headquartered in York, PA, is recognized as Agfa’s newest accredited GreenWorks℠ program member. GreenWorks distinguishes print providers in the graphic communications industry who achieve greener outcomes through technology, products, services, and practices.
The YGS Group actively recycles, participates in community waste reduction, and holds Forest Stewardship Certification (FSC), which promotes environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world’s forests.
Using Agfa’s Adamas chemistry-free printing plate and PressTune standardization tool qualified YGS for GreenWorks certification. Adamas offers significant environmentally-safer benefits compared to conventional printing plates as it replaces chemicals with a pH-neutral gumming solution and eliminates the need for rinse water. PressTune lowers ink and paper consumption, significantly reducing make-ready time while delivering more accurate, consistent colors.
