Microsoft Gold Certified Partnership
Since many years, Agfa holds Gold Certified Partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program with a competency in ISV/Software Solutions, recognizing our expertise and impact in the technology marketplace.
Each Microsoft partner receives a label based on expertise, competence and performance. Microsoft wants to make it easier for companies to find a partner with the right solution, experience and knowledge. The Microsoft label is the result of different factors such as satisfied customers, deals done, certified employees and the quality of the service, products and projects. Microsoft evaluates the partner status every year.
Being a Gold Certified Partner means that Agfa has demonstrated its expertise in providing customer satisfaction using Microsoft products and technology; its engineers receive direct training and support from Microsoft, enabling them to bridge the gap between customers’ demands and their technology capabilities. Customers can trust in Agfa as an expert adviser for their long-term strategic technology plans.
As one of the requirements for attaining Gold Certified Partner status, Agfa had to declare a Microsoft Competency. Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner’s capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. Each Competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry. Within select Competencies, there are Specializations that focus on specific solution areas that recognize deeper expertise within that Competency. Serving as a specialized path to earning those Competencies, Specializations give direct access to the tools and resources that support that specific area of focus.
The ISV (Independent Software Vendor)/Software Solutions Competency, earned by Agfa’s workflow solutions development team, recognizes the skill and focus partners bring to a particular solution set. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners that have obtained this competency have a successful record of developing and marketing packed software based on Microsoft technologies. Microsoft has a long history of working closely with ISV partners to help them deliver compelling solutions and applications to customers.

Microsoft Gold Certified Partners are Microsoft’s most highly accredited independent technical support providers and offer a comprehensive range of support for Microsoft and multi-vendor products. This support includes data management, software development, application development and others. Companies can get certified as a partner through a rigorous process that ensures proper use of licensing and equipment. Becoming a partner also requires the use of Microsoft technology as the primary platform for the company.
