Borderless printing without contaminating your wide-format engine? Use kraft paper.
When printing borderless on a flatbed wide-format engine, taping the media is a very labor-intensive and often tedious task. Especially when you have a large production of panels, a more automated solution is welcome. In this case, the use of brown kraft paper or wrapping paper can help.
Kraft paper of 90 to 100 g still lets air flow through, making it the ideal solution to protect your printer’s vacuum belt or table. It effectively avoids ink build-up on the vacuum area, while guaranteeing enough suction power to keep the print media in place.
