Kroschke sign-international invests in second Jeti Tauro H2500 LED large-format inkjet printer
A year after the installation of their first Jeti Tauro H2500 LED wide-format inkjet printer, Kroschke sign-international (Braunschweig, Germany), leader in the field of safety sign printing, invested in a second one.
„Within a few weeks after the installation of the first Jeti Tauro H2500 at the end of 2017, it was clear that we couldn’t do without it anymore, as both the quality and productivity surpassed our expectations by far,“ says Andreas Förster, Production Manager at Kroschke sign-international GmbH.
In order to deal with future demands, the company invested in a second Jeti Tauro H2500 LED at the beginning of 2019. The flexibility of the printer in particular played a vital role in this decision. Catalog items ordered before 4 pm are delivered the very same day. This fast turnaround is made possible by the combination of the Jeti Tauro H2500 LED and Agfa’s Asanti workflow software. „We only need 20 seconds to switch between substrates. The second Jeti Tauro was installed in March 2019, to prepare the company for further growth. The new Jeti Tauro H2500 LED is a hybrid inkjet printer featuring low-energy UV LED technology for printing on flexible media up to 2.5 m wide. For rigid media, the maximum size is 4 x 2.54 m and the maximum width 5 cm. The Jeti Tauro H2500 LED prints in six colors + white, and can also do primer. It reaches a top speed of 275 m²/h.
