Agfa has acquired a Short Path Distillation Pilot Plant

AgfaLabs installed a pilot plant for short path evaporation with the support of the Flemish government (VLAIO), the European Union (EFRO project) and the Province of Antwerp.
This installation is accessible to third parties like industry and university looking for a continuous distillation with minimal thermal stress, decomposition, foaming etc. to handle thermally unstable or foaming products. Short path evaporation enables to distill these systems in a very efficient continuous way.
The installation is suitable for process development at every scale, from lab to fab, with readily scalable distillation parameters.
