Agfa puts development and pilot reactor for hydrogenation reactions into service

With the support of the Flemish Government (VLAIO project) and of the European Union (EFRO project) Agfa has put a pilot reactor for hydrogenation reactions into service. In this reactor, reactions under high pressure can be studied in optimal mass transfer conditions. Thus, the obtained data can be used for batch as well as flow processes on larger scale.
This installation, together with the chemical expertise of Agfa’s R&D department, is available for third parties from industry or academia via the Open innovation Platform AgfaLabs.
