Helen is a Principle Investigator at Adaptable Clinical Workflow (ACW) working group at Agfa Healthcare. At ACW, we are working on a decision support system that generates patient-specific clinical pathway using semantic web technology.

Helen's research interests include:

• Ontology Modeling and Mapping in Healthcare Domain
• Decision Support in Healthcare Information Systems
• Semantic web technology
• Computable, Interchangeable and Adaptable Clinical Pathways, its representation and execution

Helen's current responsibilities also include participation at Semantic Web for Healthcare and Life Sciences Interest Group and collaborations with external academic and research partners.

Helen holds a Ph.D. in Biomechanics from University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, under supervising of Prof. Wayne Brodland. She received her MSc. and BSc. degrees from the Department of Engineering Mechanics at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China .
