The Company Agfa-Gevaert Ltd, also known as Agfa UK is the third largest subsidiary of the Agfa-Gevaert Group - second in the EEC - and has headquarters based in Brentford, West London.

The company has been operating in the UK for over 90 years, Gevaert opening its London office in 1909. Agfa products were on sale in the UK for more than 50 years before the establishment of Agfa Limited in 1950.

Agfa A.G. and Gevaert N.V. merged in 1964 - the first EEC merger across borders and today the Agfa-Gevaert Group, the largest European owned imaging company, ranks among the world's leading companies in its field. Floated on European Stock Exchanges in 1999, Agfa has its international headquarters in Mortsel, Belgium. Some 16,000 people work for Agfa in 33 countries, and the company has 120 agents throughout the world.

Agfa has one manufacturing plant located in Leeds where our high tech digital printing plates are manufactured.
