Ortho CP-G Plus

Green-sensitive universal film with high contrast, low fog and low noise, enabling quick reading of all necessary information.

Key benefits

  • Flexible: can be used for a broad range of specific applications, including angiography.
  • Detection of hairline fractures in bones, as well as lung calcification, early signs of lung cancer and metastasis.
  • High contrast, low fog and low noise level, for sharp, detailed images.

Ortho CP-G Plus is a general X-ray film designed for rapid and HT processing for use with green-emitting intensifying screens.

The system speed has been adapted for specific applications, according to the international guidelines. The toe of the characteristic curve has a form which ensures a high contrast in the low densities of the image. So you can use the Ortho CP-G Plus film in applications such as angiography, where it gives sharp and detailed images of even the smallest blood vessels, as well as for bone structures and the main lung areas.

Can be used with following products and services

Agfa developer and fixer processing solutions are recommended.

Suitable for following market segments

Ortho CP-G Plus film has been designed for standard RP processing.

Availability

Worldwide, except US and Canada.

Multitude of applications

Even small differences in absorption between soft tissue and air become visible from the varying density levels, thanks to the high contrast which is also enhanced by the form of the shoulder of the characteristic curve. This makes Ortho CP-G Plus film ideal for the imaging of bone structures, allowing you to detect even hairline fractures.
The film is also suitable for orthopedics where it will give the finest details of bone structures, yet keep the soft tissue visible. The film offers high-quality contrast in the main lung area as well, with good detail in the middle density areas. It can be used to detect calcification, early signs of lung cancer and metastasis.

Safelight requirements

We recommend the use of a special red safelight filter together with a 15 watt frosted bulb.
The filter must be positioned at least at 1.2 m (4 feet) away from the unloading/loading area and processor tray.
