Flexible processing
CP-BU NEW film can be used in RP (rapid), extended and manual processing. For best results, we recommend using Agfa HealthCare's developer and fixer processing solutions.
CP-BU NEW film is used in combination with blue-emitting rare earth and calcium tungstate intensifying screens. It excels in consistency: the disc grain technology keeps image quality at a high level, even when the film is processed in weaker chemicals or unfavorable conditions. CP-BU NEW also has a low sensitivity to desensitizing marks..
With its characteristic curve, it is ideal for obtaining high-quality images of the lung, diaphragm, retrocardial, mediastinal and spinal areas. On the one hand, the contrast of the middle section and in the shoulder of the curve is sufficient to guarantee excellent visualization of all relevant details in applications, such as bone work and angiography. All lungfield structures are very clearly presented as well. On the other hand, the toe of the curve displays the information in low-density areas very well.
Easy to read, nice neutral look
With its deep-blue polyester base, images have a nice, neutral look that is easier to read and more pleasant to view.
Processing
CP-BU NEW can be processed in any conventional or manual 90 second cycle processor; extended processing time is possible when appropriate. We recommend using CEA chemicals for optimum processing conditions.
