E.O.S. Dev. for automatic processing

E.O.S. Dev. is Agfa's ecological hardening developer for automatic processing in conventional systems. E.O.S. Dev. yields both outstanding sensitometric and physical properties. Depending on the film type used and the throughput - average processed square meters per day - replenishment may vary from 300 to 600 ml/m².

E.O.S. Fix and E.O.S. Fixer, universal low-odor fixers

Agfa's E.O.S. Fix and E.O.S. Fixer are ecologically optimized two-part hardening fixers, especially designed to be used in combination with E.O.S. Dev. Depending on the mixer type, E.O.S. Fix (2 x 25 l) or E.O.S. Fixer (2 x 20 l) is to be used.

Ecologically optimized

E.O.S. Dev. is an ecologically optimized derivate of the G138i. Together with the E.O.S. Fix or the E.O.S. Fixer, it offers you true ecological soundness. On-line silver recovery is no problem, and guarantees you to be able to comply with all current and pending environmental legislations.

Ecologically improved packaging

E.O.S. Dev., E.O.S. Fix and E.O.S. Fixer are shipped in cartons made of 60 % recycled cardboard. Two handles at both sides of the carton facilitate handling and transport. The concentrated liquids are packed in translucent polyethylene (PE) bottles with PE ECO seals. The screw caps and the stripe at the top of the label are colored for identification purposes. Developer bottles have a red cap, except for part C, which has a transparent cap to distinguish it from part B. The fixer bottles have blue caps. The colored components, however, have been reduced as much as possible and the bottles show no aluminium remnants after use. Both aspects make the bottles easily PE-recyclable.

Easy bottle handling

The screw caps have built-in cutting edges to open the bottles very easily. Open the cap, place it upside down on the bottle, press and turn the cap clockwise to break the ECO seal.

Easy automatic mixing

You can easily mix the parts using the automatic mixing units. Remove the cap, invert the bottle with the ECO seal over the seal opener and press. The seal is automatically broken and the contents can flow into the tank on the mixing unit. Whatever the mixing procedure, automatic or manual, mixing will never result in sludge formation.

General rules

Temperature adjustment of the developer by 1 °C equals speed adjustment by 2 to 3 log E points.

Conditions

Make sure the processing room is well ventilated: air ventilation of 10 times the room volume per hour will prevent build-up of chemicals in the air.
