Agfa offers a wide range of custom options, security papers and high-level security features that are not commercially available elsewhere. Years of experience and extensive research enable Agfa to utilize virtually every existing security feature along with its own patented methods. Combining any combination of these features in one document makes our passports extremely difficult to counterfeit.

Verifiable on different levels

The combination of security features results in passports that are extremely difficult to counterfeit yet easy documents to verify. Verification is, of course, a critical factor. Agfa passports can be verified on three different levels:

- Visual verification: OVC flip-flop pigments, watermarks, security threads, ...
- Optical verification: UV light, IR viewing devices, ...
- Laboratory analysis
