Due to repeated but inaccurate information circulating in the aerial survey market, Agfa stresses its long term commitment to the production and support of the Avichrome 200 film type.

Events in the market lead to the loss of the main challenging product - a fact that we deeply regret. It makes users' decision to select high speed dia-positive camera films for survey jobs more difficult, especially for projects to be continued over several years.

"Anyone buying Avichrome 200 in the course of 2007, gets Agfa HQ's guarantee to purchase the same film type at comparable conditions in the years 2008 and 2009.
Moreover, Agfa guarantees the availability of suitable ASP 44 chemistry during the same period."

Agfa's aerial management believes important efforts have to be made to reassure aerial film users on the availability of film and chemistry, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. Aerial film business is a sound business for Agfa-Gevaert offering a long term perspective for users of analogue aerial camera systems.
