Image quality analysis
Understanding the image quality requires advanced analytical techniques.
We are equipped with multiple optical techniques to characterize images in view of color spaces (color gamut), gloss, haze, orange peel, distinctness-of-reflected-image (DOI) etc.
Image visualization and analysis are also used for understanding the processes behind image defects.
We can detect if the underlying phenomena are linked to the jetting process (e.g. drop placement accuracy, failing nozzles,…).
We can also detect if the underlying phenomena are caused by ink - media interactions and/or ink - ink interactions. A typical example thereof is inter-color bleeding.
