Ink manufacturing

While dye based inkjet inks are rather easy to produce, pigmented inkjet inks require special skills.
Our focus in ink manufacturing is on pigmented inkjet inks.

A first step is the pigment dispersion preparation. Our world class pigment dispersion milling installations deliver nano pigment dispersions of superb quality with very fine and narrow particle size distribution and unbeaten dispersion stability in our industry.

The second step concerns the ink formulation/preparation starting from the pigment dispersion, going through controlled mixing equipment and finally to a filtration process.

Our manufacturing installations offer high flexibility towards a variety of final ink compositions, but at the same time afford excellent batch to batch consistency for a given ink type. All ink batches are quality checked according to standard procedures. Our manufacturing facilities produce aqueous as well as non-aqueous inkjet inks (oil based inks, solvent based inks, curable inks). We can produce ink from pilot level up to full production scale, the quantities needed for system integrators.
