The scheduling workflow

The issuing of appointments in ORBIS offers many possibilities: from an individual patient appointment to a group or a series of appointments - either or not patient related. All patient related appointment lists can be consulted from the ward level.

Essential added value from ORBIS in terms of efficiency increase in the scheduling process is the follow-up. Instead of having to disturb a colleague with a phone call one look at the monitor tells if an examination appointment request was accepted and when it will take place. A similar increase in effectiveness is achieved by offering scheduling functionality for functional units.
