Experienced PACS Administrators are a key component of successful PACS implementation. With current radiology staffing shortages, however, a qualified individual may be difficult to find and retain. Agfa can provide PACS Administrator staffing on a temporary or permanent basis, to include ongoing management of user training and security, configuration updates, backups and validation of studies. The PACS Administrator takes part in planning sessions to expand the digital system and helps coordinate service maintenance and improvements.
