It allows the physician, within the space of about 20 seconds, to have the complete (both supine and prone) CT dataset loaded in the IMPAX Virtual Colonoscopy application and to start the lesion detection in a clinically relevant user pre-defined layout, while assuring that the resulting images can be stored in the PACS and a DICOM-structured report can be generated.
