AUTO QC², integrated hardware and software for automated CR quality control. The rapid growth of Computed Radiography (CR) in medical imaging has increased the need for advanced, comprehensive, Quality Assurance (QA) programs to help these CR systems function optimally and consistently.

To answer this need, Agfa HealthCare has introduced AUTO QC², its second-generation CR QA program, which includes both Agfa HealthCare's unique CR test phantom and the AUTO QC² software for NX.

Together, the integrated hardware and software tools offer imaging specialists a complete, automated, easy-to-use means to control and correct the technical quality of the CR system quickly and efficiently:

  • uses a single phantom for both spatial and contrast tests, improving workflow and results;
  • includes an exclusive hafnium technology (create link to 'features' tab) for more robust results, while eliminating manual tasks;
  • is based on American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) recommendations, IEC1267 and IEC62220-1-1, to provide a better standardization of quality control.
