Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth goes live with United Kingdom’s first IMPAX 6.4
Agfa HealthCare, the leading provider of diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT solutions, announces today that it has installed the United Kingdom’s first IMPAX 6.4 Picture Archiving and Communications System at the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth in London. The solution allows departments outside of radiology, and even offsite locations, to access key data and images.

Agfa HealthCare expands multi-site agreement with Basque Healthcare Service
(ECR 2010, Booth #103) Agfa HealthCare, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT solutions, announced today that it has expanded its agreement with the Basque Healthcare Service’s Osakidetza facilities in Spain to extend its IMPAX Picture and Archiving and Communications System (PACS) to a further 15 sites, in addition to the 28 facilities it currently serves. To enable all facilities to easily access and share diagnostic images and related data, Osakidetza will also install Agfa HealthCare’s IMPAX Data Center, a solution which manages diagnostic image access and distribution across the enterprise.

Barco’s high-bright 30-inch desktop is especially designed for reading chest, orthopeadic and mammography exams and enables users to easily compare prior and current images, without a central bezel.
