Software enhancement for DDI imaging solutions

As part of Agfa’s continual drive to provide customers with perfect image quality, Agfa’s award winning Direct Digital Imaging (DDI) technology has been enhanced to include A#Sharp technology. This technology intensifies imaging capability, enabling DDI to provide sharper image quality across all applications.

The development of the A#Sharp software was a logical step in the continued improvement of Agfa's DDI solutions. The first step was achieved by replacing old fashioned laser-optics technology with solid-state high-tech electronics as an innovative printing technology. The second step was further improvement through sharper image quality. A#Sharp advances DDI image quality significantly in this area, and thus is a logical progression for Agfa's DDI solutions.

Direct Digital Imaging technology with A#Sharp Enhancement offers a number of advantages in addition to the enhanced image quality offered by A#Sharp technology. DDI technology is a single step process, with no separation of exposure and heat processing. Its simple mechanism makes it compact and highly reliable.
