Agfa's :Advantage X plate setters are designed to meet the demands of medium sized newspapers and semi-commercial printers. These manually loaded violet plate setters have a throughput of 85 plates per hour, and have multiple resolutions available, from 1000 up to 2540 dpi. The registration system is the proven 3-point FleX system, well known from Agfa’s :Polaris portfolio. Furthermore you have the choice between on-line processing with :Advantage Xs and off-line with :Advantage Xm.
Simple, reliable plate production
Advantage X's reliable violet-laser diode has a 10-year lifespan, and its simple internal design require less maintenance, which helps keep costs and downtime to a minimum. Due to the FleX registration system, the :Advantage X can be configured for multiple plate sizes without requiring customization, and can conveniently use different plates on a day-to-day basis. FleX stands for Format Limitation Eliminator and refers to the flexibility of the table registration system.
