Responsible Care

Responsible Care is a worldwide initiative taken by and applicable in the chemical industry. It means that all employees are acting in line with corporate environmental protection and safety objectives.

Responsible Care obligates Agfa to:

• implement sustainable development concepts aimed at conserving natural resources for the benefit of future generations
• operate a management system that sets, reviews and continues to develop targets for improvement in the areas of product stewardship, environmental protection, plant safety, hazard prevention, occupational safety and health
• report to all employees and to the public on the current status, and results, to pursue a dialogue with employees, customers and the public, actively responding to their opinions and requests and taking these into account in developing future corporate objectives
