Why did you choose Agfa Discovery among the internship programs?

I chose Agfa Discovery among the internship programs because I was interested to work abroad, to practice my English and to have some experience in a multinational company. Belgium was always among the countries that I wanted to visit, so when I heard about the internship at Agfa in Antwerp, I knew that it was something for me.

What value did your internship add to your studies in the university?

The internship taught me how to organize a conference and how to use my knowledge in real life. During my stay at Agfa I gathered some information for my last thesis and I analyzed a questionnaire that I wrote for the conference CGIV 2002 in Poitiers. I wrote my last thesis of the subject CGIV 2002 in English and I got a very good note at the end of my studies.

Has the internship at Agfa had any influence on your career? If so, can you explain it? Where are you working now?

After the university I came to France where I didn’t really make a career but I could use my English where I worked. I’m sure that later on I could use all what I learnt at Agfa. At present, I am at home with my son.

Could you develop your theoretical and practical knowledge during your time with Agfa?

Yes, I could develop my theoretical and practical knowledge during my stay at Agfa.

How would you summarize your internship time with Agfa in 2-3 sentences?

I liked my internship time at Agfa very much. Everybody was very kind to me at Agfa; my colleagues and my boss always helped me when needed. I got new friends from different countries as well. I ‘m very happy to have done this internship in Antwerp. I learnt a lot at Agfa and I had the possibility to live in a beautiful town where you find a lot of young people from all over the world.

Would you recommend this placement program to other students?

I recommend this placement program to everyone who wants to have an experience abroad.
